Conference on “Role of youth in sustainable development and humanitarian support”

A youth conference on “Role of youth in sustainable development and humanitarian support” was successfully organised by FSCN in its training center located in Imadol, Lalitpur on 12 August, Friday.

12 August is celebrated as International Youth Day. Therefore, various programs are organized by FSCN on this day every year to address youth and their role in development of the nation.

There was presence of officials and representatives from various government and non-government organizations in the program including more than a hundred youth representatives from different communities of Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts.

The main objective of the conference was to encourage young people to actively participate and contribute in social development, social justice, empowerment of the poor and marginalized people and also make them aware about their role in humanitarian support and sustainable development of the society and the whole nation.
